Hi friends!
I wanted to let you all know that we have all arrived safe and sound in Nairobi. Praise God!
Wish I could say the same for our luggage…
Unfortunately, most of the racer’s checked luggage got left behind in Cairo. We are hoping it will arrive tomorrow morning. The lime and yellow team (plus Rinn & Sisson) had to get on a bus immediately to go to Tanzania… so for the next few weeks they will truly be embracing simplicity and community by living together off of the few people’s items that actually made the trip. The blue team is waiting for a bag to come in, then they will be getting on a bus and heading to Uganda.
So, that leaves the bread team (brown + red = bread) to spend the next month at the AIM base here in Nairobi. We are SO excited to be here and really devote ourselves to ministering to the community and to each other. We will definitely have access to the internet, so keep posted for updates and pictures!
