WorldRace Launch Date: August 2016
A little about me: I am 21 years old, I will be 22 in May! I will also graduate in May from UNC Asheville with a degree in psychology and a wonderful liberal arts education. I was born and raised in small town Valdese, North Carolina surrounded by beautiful mountains. I am a simple, laid-back backwoods kind of gal who loves mountains, bluegrass music, and southern comfort food (as long as its vegetarian). I have an adventurer/hippie soul and I love to travel and explore new places and things. I have a strong passion of working with children, especially children with disabilities. I also have a strong passion for women and girls rights, every young women has a right to achieve the capabilities and opportunities that God has given them.
I have felt for a while a calling on my heart to go and serve those in other countries. When I heard about the WorldRace, I knew immediately that it was what God had called me to do. I look forward to embodying Jesus and loving the unloved.
