World Race Cost Breakdown
The following is a cost breakdown for the World Race trips as of November 7, 2011. The breakdown is based on the required $16,285 that each participant raises.
Program Expenses
This category includes direct and indirect costs such as training camp, participant field expenses and support field expenses.
Administrative Expenses
Our overhead covers all indirect expenses such as our Accounting, IT, Human Resources, Donor Relations, Marketing and Development departments.
Program Development
Funds are reinvested into the general World Race fund to grow the program and our international relationships.
Items not covered in the $16,285
Vaccinations and Medicine: $200
Gear (backpack, tent, mosquito net, etc.): $1000
Flights to and from training camp: $500
Flights to and from US launch/receiving city: $500
Fundraising Deadlines
1st Deadline: $3,500 – Due 9/28/2013 (2 weeks before Training Camp)
2nd Deadline: $7,500 – Due 12/18/2013 (2 weeks prior to your trip)
3rd Deadline: $11,000 – Due 4/1/2014 (End of 3 months on the field)
4th Deadline: $16,285 – Total Due 7/1/2014 (End of 6 months on the field)
