I’m sure most of you have already caught on by now, but here is the official post! TEAM CHANGES! (again, haha.) Last month I was given a new team that I will be finishing the last three months of the Race with, and I want to introduce them to you. This is my fourth and final team, and I am so glad to let you know that I already love all of them to bits and pieces. Welcome to my very first ALL GIRLS TEAM: ALETHEIA!!

Our name means Truth. Not just any kind of truth, but an unclosed-ness that bears an undeniable, unforgettable, irrepressible witness to reality- the reality of Christ as the Savior and light of the word. Aletheia is the Greek word that is used in John when he speaks about Jesus being the “Way, the Truth, and the Life”, and we are bearing this name to not only hold one another accountable in the truths of our identity,  but also to bring Truth and Light to the World. The truth of Salvation that cannot be forgotten, hidden or repressed! Can I hear an Amen? And the Truth about the Race- it’s ALL about JESUS, and this is a race that doesn’t end after 11 months, but one that endures until His Kingdom is on earth! This is our inspiration and our motivation, the very truth that keeps us going.

So from left to right I present the members of Aletheia : including me, Saige, Ashley, Emily, Faith, and our responsible team leader: Chelsey! Aren’t we beautiful women of God?!!

Please pray that…  *we are able to finish the Race strong, continuing to bring: Light to the Darkness, Love to the Nations, and Truth to the lost

*we minister to one another, building each other up and spurring one another on in developing to be more like Christ, becoming family and serving in unity and fellowship

*the hearts of the people we meet will be prepared to receive, worry and pride will cease on both ends, and they will be able to experience the beauty of the Lord’s love for them- a love that transcends culture and language

*we will focus on the race before us, will remain present despite the quickly approaching time for us to come home, and that we will press in, desiring even more

* our faith increases, our love becomes more radical, our endurance even stronger, and our joy unshakable
