This has been an amazing month.  I found that God has given me a heart for the Burmese people here in Thailand.  God gave me many opportunities to share my testimony and the word with many of the Burmese.  I broke out of my shell and embraced the knowledge that God gave me to share with others.  Some of the people I met were Christians but had no Bibles.  The only opportunity they had to hear Gods word was when people visited them.  It was a very humbling experience when I realized that.  I enjoy my Bible and I read it but I never realized how blessed I am to have it.  There are still Christian in this world without Bibles!  When you share the word with them they crave it and eat it like food.  The worship services we had with them were so powerful.  Rarely do they get to fellowship or worship with other Christians.  A piece of my heart will be left behind here with them.

The bar ministry here was difficult for me.  It was very overwhelming for me to see everything that goes on in the bars.  When I started to get to know the girls and be-friend them it became a lot easier.  I came to realize that it was not my job to save them.  I was here to love them and in the end show them that there are other opportunities for work besides prostitution.  The girls that I met are so smart and full of life.  I can truly say that I am sad to go.
