Here in Thailand lives a beautiful boy named Moses. Moses is one of Gods many miracles. He is Burmese and was born here because his parents left Burma to escape violence and poverty. Moses was born premature and not expected to live, but due to attentive health care he continued to grow. Moses’ Mom was unable to breast feed and had no money to buy milk. Unable to feed her growing child Moses’ parents did the only thing they thought they could do to keep him alive. They offered to give their baby to a couple named Sharon and Mark. Sharon and Mark are the founders of the SHE program and our contacts here in Thailand. God had his hand in this situation the whole time. Mark and Sharon saw the need of this family. Every week they go to the Burmese camp and bring milk for Moses and food for the people in the community. Moses’ parents were so grateful to Sharon and Mark that they let them name their little boy. And that is how Moses got his name. Now Moses’ parents and some people around the community have come to know Jesus through the weekly visits. Not only did a child get saved physically but most importantly many were saved spiritually.
