The spirit of lust is very heavy here.
As we walk down the streets of the bars men will come up to you with a menu.
Within the pages of that menu are things that can be done with the girls behind closed doors.
The bars are busy every night.
People travel far to come here.
Women dance on the bar tables barely dressed.
Bright lights light up the streets with alcohol feely flowing.
When you sit down at a bar a couple of girls will come up to you and befriend you instantly.
They are trained to be very friendly with the customers and to serve them.
We order cokes and sit and get to know the girls.
We play games with them such as Connect Four or Jinga.
I know that it sounds odd playing those kinds of games in a bar but it is common here.
At this moment our goal is to just get to know the girls and love them as God does.
We invite them over for lunch or out to the beach to hang out.
What amazes me and breaks my heart are the young eyes that are exposed to this.
Within the bars are 13 year old children that walk around selling gum in a box they carry.

My main struggle has been to show Gods love to the men.
The women here are bought like merchandise and used to fill the men’s loneliness.
God has been showing me their emptiness.
They are filling themselves up with alcohol and their own sexual desires.
But in the end when they go back home and wake up hung over they are back in the same spot, “empty”.
The spot that they are paying money to fill can only be filled by god.

John 1; 5

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.”

God I pray you continue to open my eyes and soften my heart to love as you love.
