our plan for the hospital was so clear

 

we were to minister and bring some cheer

 

the door was shut by God alone

 

where should we turn, should we go home

 

we stand and pray before we go

 

but our day was not finished, little did we know

 

people sit outside the hospital

 

desperate to hear of Gods love and the gospel

 

praying for those God led us to

 

comforts the lonely and brings tears so true

 

our plans were changed before our eyes

 

to a more glorious plan and great surprise
