Hey there! I am so blessed to be introducing myself, in the name of Jesus, as I have been called to this mission.
My upbringing was 100% based in a faithful household. From my earliest memory until today, I have been supported in my faith in so many ways…but life isn’t perfect and the journey is not always easy.
Although I have endured MANY struggles and setbacks in life, I have always had faith in the Lord and whatever purpose He had for my life. Until about four years ago, when I graduated from college with a degree in Sports Marketing in Denver, I was seeking nothing but my own wants and needs, and ignoring the words Jesus was telling me about what He wanted for my life. A pivotal point I remember in my walk of faith was during college, when I got to spend time studying in Prague. I was so excited to go there and just travel and adventure and have the time of my life, but God had different plans for me. While I tried to push and push, He always had on my heart that I was there learning for a bigger purpose. About a month ago, I was introduced to the World Race and I realized that this is the purpose and mission He is calling me to.
God is calling me to spread His word and the love of Jesus to people all around the world… who have probably never even heard how loved they are, or know the grace that I experience every day.
But, let’s be honest…I had so many questions and fears.
-How was I going to make this happen so quickly?
-Was I going to be able to be prepared?
-But God, how are you going to make this happen??
-But God, why am I worthy and chosen to take this journey?
-But God, I am terrified.
-But after but after but…
It has been the most tangible miracle in my life to watch the ways that, in less than 30 days, God has begun to move and prepare me and my heart for this journey.
I have been asked many times what I am most afraid of, and the truth is, I can’t even come up with an answer! I know my faith will be tested and that trusting God isn’t always the easiest thing, but IT IS THE BEST! The best. Ever. And I cannot wait to share this, and watch the lives of others change through the words He brings me to share, the relationships I will be able to build, and the lives he allows me to touch.
I cannot wait to embark on this journey with all of you, and share in the ways that we get to see God move in China and Indonesia, through Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Morocco and many other countries.
