HI ALL! Welcome to my blog! This is where I will be posting updates about everything leading up to the launch and my life across the pond. I am so excited for this opportunity and I can’t wait to share my stories and pictures with you all!

I have the amazing opportunity to take part in The World Race: Gap Year! For those who don’t know what that is; The Gap Year consists of spending nine months in three different countries. I will be spending my nine months in Thailand, India, and Guatemala! I am ready to allow Jesus to stretch me spiritually as He uses me to serve and love on others around the world.

>I chose Thailand, not only to explore their beautiful beaches and bustling outdoor food markets, but to share my faith and come along side women who are victims of human trafficking.

>I chose India because I want to experience the culture, serve the communities and talk with the people who live in the villages.

>I chose Guatemala because it is one of the most evangelical countries in the world. I want to walk along side local believers who are bringing the Word of Christ to a new generation. I want to build relationships with kids who are at risk for falling into gang violence and I want to help raise them up into God’s kingdom to serve.

Some of you may be wondering how I am funding for this trip. Well, the whole trip itself costs $16,600. Yeah, that’s a lot. That’s where you guys can help me! There’s a link on this page where you can donate and help me reach my goal! In order to make my goal, I need to raise roughly $1,000 dollars a month, which is totally do able! I will be fundraising as well as saving my own money.

As a senior, I have been asked many times what I am going to do with my life. I have never had the answer. When I learned about this mission opportunity, that changed! I have seen God work in my life over the past few years, and all I want to do is share His word with others who need to hear it. When I think about my future, the one constant has been missions. I want to pursue a career in missions. Wherever that leads me. And, I believe God is leading me on this trip.

In preparation for this trip, I will be studying the word and meeting regularly with a pastor so that my faith and knowledge are grounded in His truth.

This trip will be a stretch for me. I am a home-body! I am nervous and scared and excited at once! I know that this next year as I depend on Jesus to be my home will be tough and full of trials and I also know that He will use me and change me, and I am so ready to just be His…completely.

Luke 12:22-26 “Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable are you than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?”

I ask you all to pray for me and my team as we prepare not only financially, but mentally, physically and spiritually. I am asking boldly for financial support and praying boldly that God will go ahead of my team and prepare the hearts of the women, children and men that we will meet.

I will keep you all updated throughout this exciting journey. Don’t forget to pray with me!

All my love always
