These ladies bring wise words of how they see their worth! Please read what they have to say! This group is what I c all ladies not on my race but influential in my life!
Laura: My worth means that I am a priceless daughter of God. I am worthy of everything he has to offer despite my failures and mistakes. I don’t always see it that way. I like to find worth in other relationships. My kids, marriage, family ect can often make me feel worthy or not. I find my worth in the time I am able to spend volunteering and/or giving back (which is few and far between these days). I But at the heart of it only God matters. Sometimes I don’t feel like I deserve the wonderful relationships I have. I feel guilty for the good. Like I haven’t done enough for the kingdom for the positive things in our life. But thats not how it works. Despite my sins I made and will keep making I am still worthy in His eyes. And nothing else matters but that. Its hard to give ourselves grace to find our true worth but thats exactly what God offers.
Charla: It means the cost of God on the cross. It means the loss of a father’s only son.
Tianna: The definition of worth can go all sorts of ways. Knowing your worth is a very broad statement, i say this because we all make choices in life that may or may not end up the way we wanted or anticipated. So I think that will have us second guessing on how much we are worthy. But I think diving deeper, having the lack of knowledge of your worth, it’s not about that. More so, it’s how much you truly understand how to hold expectations of how others treat you and see you. Also, how you perceive yourself. So my worth is important to me, the understanding of worth is important to me. But I think also, me knowing my worth is special to me. It helps me make healthy and right decisions. It’s important for me to remind myself, because even if someone does see my worth, I know what my worth is.
Maeve: my worth, I think like anyone else, means a great deal to me. it had been a long journey (which I’m still on) to reconcile with that, while also understanding that my worth comes from Christ. For me this means my worth is intrinsically a part of me because of how God designed me, and nothing I can do will add or take away from me. I am simply loved. and the best way to know that is to allow God’s truth to reveal and remind me of that- rather than looking to people or external things for validation. there is so much joy in the radical grace of receiving God’s love and knowing my worth in Jesus
Hailey Faith long:
Worth is the value of something! To find the value in yourself to me I think you have to turn to who created YOU. The creator of the stars and the world we live in. I heard the saying you can’t turn to the stars for answers rather you must turn to the one who created the stars. Trying to find your worth in worldly things will only bring you fear, self confidence issues, and more things to bring about anxiety. God who created you is the only person that can define your worth and everything about YOU! He knows you up and down and He created everyone absolutely unique with value and purpose. He fills the holes in our little hearts with value and purpose. So, to me I find my worth in the one who created me. Jesus. The Lord of my life! My worth is important to me because I believe you must always recognize you are worth so much to this world! You have the ability to change and leave and impact on so many people! He describes me to have so many amazing qualities! He describes YOU with all unique and amazing qualities as well!!! You do not have to please everyone around you. Recognizing that self worth may take time and patience but the waiting season is completely worth it! His timing will always be without flaws!!
Lauren: I think that my worth is how I value myself. I try to put my identity & worth in the Lord. However, I am an enneagram 3 (not sure how much I trust the enneagram, but I do believe this part of it lol) and sometimes I put my worth in what I accomplish, which isn’t good ??
Hannah Hockman: I would say my worth is of high value simply because I’m a daughter of THE King. Which makes me royalty ???? I was placed exactly where I am at exactly the right time to make an impact on everyone I meet. And for God to forgive, anoint, appoint, and set me apart for a specific purpose gives me confidence in my self worth.
Arielle: It means knowing my value as a Christian and that I can’t find my worth in the things of this world
