My name is Katelyn DeVoe for those of you who don't know me. I am originally from southern Indiana but moved to northern WiScOnSiN in elementary school. I went to Antigo High School and am still very close with my high school friends. {shoutout to Cort,Em,El,Shay, Meg, Stay, Jen~love u girls}.

These are my parents! WOO They are my true inspirations..they are the ones who have taught me how to love, how to forgive, how to be strong and indepdendent, and most importantly how to love God!
I am currently 24 years old working full time as a social worker at a nursing home. I love my job; working with the elderly is something I have felt a calling for all my life.
I went to school at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and completed my social work internship at Luthern Social Services in the Refugee Resettlement program.
I learned about the race back in 2010 from a guy (Brian) 
I knew in high school. He went on a shorter mission with the same organization and when I saw his pictures on facebook I instantly stalked the website and felt myself being drawn to the World Race specifically. The timing wasn't right until these past few months I have felt God's presence again pointing me toward the World Race.
I hit a turing point when I listened to one of the World Race videos and it said "we change things by being in the middle of the world and RELEASING the KINDOM of God" it spoke to me, it hit my heart like an arrow and so this is where it begins.
