Hey everyone! I know it has been a very long time since my last blog post and I apologize. The past couple weeks have been quite busy and I kind of set blogging aside. But I am back and will try to post blogs more frequently.

So here’s a quick update:

After I left Cambodia we headed to Bangkok, Thailand for a week and a half. Part of that time was a rest period/debrief time and the other part was preparing for the next two months. We didn’t have ministry for a couple days and it was such a blast exploring the huge city and experiencing Thai culture in a new way. We spent most of our time at the local street markets trying all the exotic foods and drinking Thai Tea with Boba, Every. Single. Day. I also took a Pad Thai cooking class so I may or may not be eating it everyday when I return home. Overall my favorite thing to do was just walk around and see the uniqueness of Bangkok.

After our rest period we made our way to Ratchaburi, Thailand which is a couple hours West of Bangkok. Here is where we will be for the majority of our time in Thailand and we’ll be doing various types of ministry work. Teaching english camps, going to the Juvenile Detention Center, running summer school programs and leading game nights with the neighborhood kids are just some of the things planned for the upcoming weeks. And just last week we were able to spend six days serving the Karen people in a small village on the boarder of Myanmar and Thailand (Blog post coming soon).

Each day will look different which is something I will definitely have to get used to after coming from the consistency of our Cambodia ministry. But I am super excited for everything that’s planned and even more excited to see God work through it all.
