In officially 2 & half (2.5) weeks I will be finishing this unbelievable journey that I have been on for the last year and half of my life.
I cannot begin to explain how much this journey has changed my world view, opened my eyes to people I may not have seen before, shown me how to love people who are harder to love and deepened my faith in an extraordinary way!
I want to THANK every person who has been supporting me in all the different ways (prayer, financial support, check ins, etc.) from the absolute bottom of my heart! I am so BEYOND GRATEFUL, it has truly meant more to me than I feel I can communicate.
I am so happy that my last month with this squad has been in my home country, South Africa, it’s been so special to have them experience it with me. And it’s been so good to be HOME.
This squad, who is so near and dear to my heart, still has 6 more months of travelling and seeking the Lord for all that He has for them. I am so excited for all that is to come for them, I know that it’s going to be incredible and that they are going to be touched by so many people and in return impact so many peoples lives.
However, there is an opportunity for me to be able to rejoin this squad at the end of August in Spain for a couple of weeks. This would involve me helping in a time of debrief for the squad, as well as helping with the arrival of the squads parents who have the opportunity to experience what their kids are doing for 5 days. I am a huge advocate for this experience as I am so grateful for the opportunity I got to have last year when my mom got to join me in Thailand for 5 days, it was honestly the biggest blessing!
In order to rejoin this squad then, I need to raise $1683 by Monday! This may seem like a large amount in a small amount of time, but nothing is too great for my God. I am asking if you would please prayerfully consider supporting me in this opportunity to serve my squad in August. It would make my heart so insanely happy to have another opportunity to see them and be apart of what the Lord is doing in their lives!
