I am offically in the Philippines, the last country, my last month, with ‘home’ approaching quickly. With the end of 2018 in sight, the obvious next question is, “what does 2019 hold?”
I‘m beyond excited to share with you all, that I will be returning to lead this same, yet different, trip again for 6 months next year! I will be returning next year in the position of ‘Squad Leader’, where I, along with one other squad leader, will be returning to the field to guide and encourage 19 new God and adventure seeking individuals.
God initially placed this on my heart in January of this year, as He knows it takes me a while to catch up to His ideas and plans for me and for my hearts desire to be aligned with His. I am so excited to be able to share this experience all over again with new people, knowing the huge impact it has made on my life!
I will be returning to Cambodia in the beginning of January for training camp with the new squad. I will also be returning to the countries Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to return to these countries so shortly after leaving them and I so look forward to meeting up with some people I now call friends in all these countries!
I will also be going to South Africa and Botswana. This is such a blessing! What an incredible opportunity to return to my home country, South Africa, to serve in any way after not being there for a year and a half! I am so excited!
I will be returning to Australia on 3 December to be with my family for a month before going back to Cambodia. During this month I will be resting, debreifing, spending time with my family and preparing to return to Cambodia.
With the quick turn around time I would truly appreciate any prayers for feeling well rested when returning home, even more passion and excitement for joining the new squad and for financial support to be raised.
I have $5000 to be raised for the 6 months that I will be leading the new squad and I would truly appreciate any support in any way!
