Hi family!
I just want to give you an update on where I am financially and spiritually as of today, December 15, 10 days before Christmas.
I have grown a lot spiritually on the race, for I have seen God speak and move in incredible ways. I feel so at home on the race and am confident that this is where I need to be right now. Especially since returning to the states for medical treatment, I am very eager to dive deeper into the work God is doing in myself and the people around me. Financially, I am struggling with fundraising. It’s awkward to ask people for money, but I believe in your receptive, compassionate, and loving hearts.
Two nights ago, two girls on my squad spoke over everyone that wasn’t fully funded. They said they believed we would all be fully funded by Christmas.
This sounded like an impossible task, but I know God is a miracle-working God, and this is a miracle of his promise that I have faith in.
How can you help?
I need people to be praying for me, praying that The Lord would open doors for me to share the gospel, that I would be bold in my faith, and that I would be filled with faith in believing his promises. I need serious intercession that this seemingly impossible would be fulfilled in a way that is so glorifying to the Lord.
I would love more people praying for me. I’m so grateful for all of you who already are! Right now I’m at 38 subscribers for my blog. I know most of you are praying for me, and I want to say thank you so much for that! Prayer is the most important tool for fundraising and supporting me spiritually as my fundraising deadline is quickly approaching.
How can I help specifically? If each one of you asks another person to subscribe to my blogs and be in prayer over me, that would mean I had 76 people praying for me for specific needs. That would be absolutely incredible!
The fundraising deadline placed by the World Race is January 15. But, my goal is to be 100% funded by Christmas. That means i need to raise $3,968 in 10 days.
How can that happen?
Thank you so much to all of you who have donated. I would just encourage y’all to ask the Lord if he’s asking you to donate. Ask the Lord if he’s asking you to give again. Scripture says that those who sow generously, reap generously. I believe this to be so true. Therefore, I am also donating my own personal money, as we are all working together here.
Goals for this week : 1) Become 90% funded before December 20th and 2) have 38 people subscribed and praying for me and those on my squad that aren’t fully funded. If this could happen between now and Christmas, I would be so overjoyed. I have seen the Lord’s work already in such big ways it is mind blowing. My teammate Cat got $6,000 in two weeks after being stuck at $9,000 for 10 weeks. Especially after seeing this, I firmly believe Jesus can do big things.
I can’t stress enough how grateful I am for each one of you who has prayed for me and donated. Thank you so incredibly much. I will keep you all updated this week!
