Warning: Don’t read before a meal (or do)
Just gonna tell a quick story here because I have shared the big things but not the small moments day to day.
Last weekend we went to the city of Chaing mai for Ceces 21st and Sadies 19th birthday! (Two girls on my team). We were on the way back to the hostel we were staying in that night after a fun day of shopping and eating really good food. We were in what is called a “tuk tuk” (taxi) (A red truck that has two benches in it with a roof over the top) to give you a visual of what it looks like. Cece and I were bouncing back and fourth about a joke, that I dont even remember. Taylor takes a sip of her water and starts laughing way too hard she spits out her water all over the tuk tuk (giving us more credit than we deserved). Then the rest of us start laughing because were confused why she’s laughing so hard and the fact that she spit out her water. Then we take a double look at her and shes throwing up!!! She is laughing while throwing up all over the tuk tuks floor!! We were EXTREMELY confused and just started laughing way harder! Now, I am sitting directly across from Taylor. And the second I realized she was throwing up my stomach got weak. (Still laughing) Maybe 5 minutes later of us (still dying of laughter) I start gagging and eventually throw up out the window of the tuk tuk! You really had to be there but that may be one of the funniest moments I’ve had on the race so far.
Later on we found out Taylor chocked on her water- that was the reason for throwing up.
