ng to an end. This month has been out of the norm of what I expected this next year to be like. New Zealand resembles the States in many various ways. When we arrived, it almost felt like we were in a new beautiful state with different grocery stores and restaurants. The beauty here is out of this world! It seems like the colors have been enhanced every where you look. Even the people are beautiful! But it wasn’t till we spoke to the locals along the beaches of Tauranga did we realize just how closed they were to anything that resembled God. It’s hard to see their hearts so closed to something that they have misconceived or rather been deceived from truly knowing. I ju
st want them to see that our Jesus does not offer religion or rules; rather freedom, wide open spaces, and love that each one of us have been destined for before the beginning of time. After speaking to a local Kiwi at the church we were ministering through, it seems as though New Zealand represents what America will become in the next years if we keep pushing God out of the picture. But what I’ve discovered is that God is not through with New Zealand yet, not even by a long shot. Sometimes I wonder if it is yet a new beginning!
