So something way cool that I feel God is revealing to me that I want to share with you!
As I enter new cultures and parts of the world, I am fascinated by how each part plays a different role in bringing God’s Kingdom. Speaking to an Islander from Fiji, he described American’s as being the “Influencers” of the world. The Westernized dream is what most places around the world aspire to. We are blessed in abundance. Our way of life is envied by most. So when we go to places around the world, people watch us, people listen to us, the world is drawn to what we represent: freedom, prosperity, abundance. So when we as Americans go to these nations with the Message of Christ, think of the “influencers” we were intended to be, and possibly are destined to be!
Now revert your attention to the Austral-Asia part of the world: the Islanders, the Mauri people of New Zealand and those surrounding; these people are “Warriors”. If you met one in person, you would know. They are built like fighters. The same friend of ours from Fiji said his ancestors were warriors, they were a fierce people, fought, hunted, killed…even ate those they captured. But when God gets a hold of these tribal nations for Christ, they bring about a whole new level of war to the spiritual realm. They walk, talk and act like warriors but add Christ to the picture, and suddenly you have an army for the LORD. And the countless Islander’s that I’ve talked to who have the biggest heart to go to Europe
, America, Asia, back to their own people to literally fight for the people that don’t know the Truth because their hearts are that burdened!
Only imagine what the other parts of the world represent when looking at the Body of Christ! I believe there is a larger purpose to God’s plan than we what we see or get that goes beyond the division of border lines and people groups throughout the world. We all represent a beauty, a strength, an importance that is vital to uniting the Kingdom!
