Our time in Australia was not what we expected. I can say that entering the Philippines where it feels so light and fresh, we realized just how spiritually heavy of a battle zone that we were in.
Contacts: Were David and Isabelle. An amazing missionary couple with such a heart to serve, like in a way I have never seen before. David is a full time surgeon on the side and gets very little rest. Isabelle is a retired nurse and lawyer student who recently had a stroke due to the high levels of stress they are in. They support the entire ministry out of their pocket. They originally came from England and David spent about 20 years of schooling to prepare for where they are at.
I learned: to love supernaturally. Sometimes its not easy to love the drunk mother neglecting her kids, the undisciplined child starting fights, or the jobless man overdosed and passed out. But God is teaching me to love even them. To pray for them even when it seems hopeless. To know that God’s Word does not return void so when we pray Scripture over their live, God moves.
I will miss:
the kids. They are beautiful. Each one of them. They need desperately male role models to lead them. They need a constant, steady love in their lives. They need loving discipline. They need attention. They need hope.

Please Pray: -For David and Isabelle. They need people to come along their side to do a lot of the small labor things that add up so much that it consumes their lives. Pray for the laborers to come.
– Pray for male Aboriginal men to rise up and be men, godly men, in their community, amongst their people, and in Australia.
-Pray God’s angels to be sent to protect the children of the community. They are the hope and the light of what we saw there. May God raise them up to be a hope and light for their people.
