I have just recently graduated high school and like many other 2016 graduates (and really many other people in general) I have no idea what I want to do. But, I have always known two things: one, that whatever I do I want to move around, I don’t see life as something to be spent in one place and two, that I wanted to help people in my life. Based on those two things an obvious place to look was missions work. I found a girl who is currently on the 11 in 11 world race and thought the things she was doing looked truly amazing.
I really do believe that God has been calling me to this, the happiness and peace I have felt since being accepted to this trip is incomparable to anything I have felt before because I know I have found something I am meant to do. The trip that I am going on is a gap year program, it is nine months (we launch in September and return in June) and I believe it will be the best and most challenging 9 months of my life but I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for me.
In these coming days, weeks, and months I will be fundraising for this trip and I have heard many times that if God calls you to it, he will give you the means to do it and I really do believe that. I need financial support but more than that I need support, please keep me in your prayers and I trust that this will all work out!
