What has the World Race taught me?
If only I could express the lessons that have become my life.
Enjoy a few things I have picked up here and there…
· I can wash my clothes better by hand than a washing machine
· Comfort is a comfy sweatshirt and anything where I can lay flat

· Good food is classified by whether or not the budget can cover it
· Journaling is more like sanity and a memory album so I don’t forget everything

· Adventure is more about the God’s moments rather than adrenaline moments
· My idea of a long walk is comparable to walking the length of the states, anything shorter than that is a normal walk
· My “happy place” is my pillow, iPod, and Bible.
· The day isn’t complete unless Team Time happens
· Teammate snoring, sleep talking, and sleep noises are my sound track to slumber
· I don’t care about the stamps in my passport as much as the faces and stories in my camera
· Catching up on the “news” is less CNN and more family emails
· Road trips at home should be more enjoyable compared to African buses
· Memories consist of the summer before I left, the moments that have captured my heart and the faces of home and here.
· Everything is “Instagram worthy”
· My most cherished possession is the pictures of my family (and my Bible)

· Trying something new might just mean letting go of the old
· Danger is relative when I believe in the power of God.
· I am avid user of the phrase, “Sharing is Caring!”
· Questions about my future are quieted when I remember I live for Christ.
· Prayer isn’t just before dinner or when times are hard…It is Life.

· Challenge is: living in community

· Reward is: living in community
The biggest lesson I learned though…
It isn't about THE WORLD RACE….
It is about GOD!

Glory to God in the highest for what he has taught me, brought me to and through and all the wonders he has done in the world!
