It is common in Thailand to:
·      Spend more money in one month than the entire rest of the race
·      Try different foods for every meal
·      Eat dinner for breakfast and breakfast for lunch
·      Watch a Thai soap opera with a host family every night just to love them in a different way
·      Be asked to shower
·      Shower more than once a day
·      Use a squatty potty
·      Gag when you walk down the streets from all the smells
·      Feel the heaviness of a temple physically making it hard to breathe
·      Be more conscious of your feet than you ever have before in your entire life
·      Listen to chickens chase rats over ceiling tiles every night
·      Search for internet to buy and find it free right next to you
·      Ride bikes more than you walk-Thai people don’t walk like we walk
·      See “Farangs”(foreigners) and be shock because you can’t believe how many there are
·      Ride Elephants
·      Cram 6 people in a Tuk-Tuk because its fast and cheap
·      Cross the street wherever and whenever and the cars will stop
·      Seek out tattoo places and piercing shops-and get one or both
·      Pay for everything, including water and the bathroom
·      Do ministry in the Red Light District-DO IT, God is moving there!!!
·      See coffee shops on every corner
·      Have condensed milk in everything
·      See floating lanterns and say “Its like the movie ‘Tangled’!”
