Yesterday I went to Main Street in Mt. Airy (which doesn't happen a lot, it's mostly tourists and I try to steer clear of it usually).  I went to the main music store there to buy a capo for my guitar.  It was actually closed by the time I got there, so I drove on down Main Street.  I saw this other little music store, which I have seen before but never actually been into.  The sign in the door said they were open, so I went in.  The man working came over to me and we began a conversation.  He told me a little history about the store, and then I asked him if his business did pretty well in that location.  He went on to tell me that they actually lose money every year, but that he kept the store open because it was a ministry.  God told him to open this store and use it as an avenue to share the Gospel.  He then told me a few stories.  In one instance, a woman actually came into the store because she had gotten lost looking for Walmart (which isn't even close to this store, so it was totally because of Jesus that she even stumbled upon it), and he was able to share the gospel with her and she began a relationship with Jesus right then and there.  In another instance, he was able to pray for a woman who had cancer.  When this woman went to have surgery to remove the cancer, it was no longer there.  She was healed because of this man's faith and obedience to use his store as a ministry.  I was just amazed at this man's faith and how it stood strong even in a religious small town.

Recently, I have been reading a book by Kenneth Hagin.  He had once had a vision about how "God will visit hungry hearts".  Here is a quote from the book where Jesus is talking to him in this particular vision:

"In these days, I am visiting and will visit every hungry heart, even in some religious areas where many think I would not visit.  Yet because people's hearts are open and hungry, I will visit them."

This hit me because I had doubted.  But seeing the faith of one man increased my faith.  Who am I to doubt the power of God?  Who am I to doubt the power of one person acting in obedience to the Holy Spirit?  Who says I can't be that one person to pray for a town, a city, a nation, and see the Lord work miracles there?  Who says you can't be that one person?
