It’s hard to give a gift from another country, but I wrote this for you, Mom! I’m so thankful for you, and I love and miss you so much!
I want to take a minute
And recognize someone
She’s known me and she’s loved me
Since before day one.
This goes out to you, mom,
You, you are like no other
I hope you know just how much I love you
And that I’m thankful you’re my mother.
Just like so many others
We’ve had our share of fights,
But thank you, mom, for loving me
Through all those tear-filled nights.
In the times I didn’t want to hear
The words you had to say,
I know, and I am truly grateful
That you prayed for me night and day.
You are truly the most beautiful—
Inside and out.
Not only are you my mom
But my best friend—no doubt.
I wish I could just teleport
To be with you today,
But know I love and celebrate you,
