I'm Kate.
Here are some basics about me:
I'm 21 years old, born April 7, 1992.
Originally from Mount Airy, NC, but for the past 3 years Boone, NC has been my home as I attend Appalachian State University (Go 'Neers!) I love living in the mountains because everyday I am again reminded of God's glory and how he has made that known by the beauty of his creation.
I will graduate in December with a Major in Spanish and a minor in Geography.
I love to do anything athletic or anything that requires being outdoors: Snowboarding, longboarding, rollerblading, hiking, tennis, racquetball, swimming & an occasional run. I enjoy really any sports as I am pretty competitive.
I love making artsy & crafty things. Painting, drawing, making jewelry, I love it all.
I have an incredible family, a mom and dad who love me unconditionally and an older brother that I have always looked up to.
My dream is to do missions in Latin America. I love the culture, the Spanish language, but mostly the people, so needless to say, I couldn't be more excited about this opportunity. I can't wait to see what the Lord is going to do in preparation for this next season of my life, and obviously what he will do while I'm on the World Race as well.
