When you see a masterpiece, you can’t take your eyes off of it. You sit and stare knowing you could stay looking at it forever. It makes you think and wonder. Your mind shuts down to all outside distractions, completely overtaken by the pieces beauty.

Maybe God is the masterpiece I haven’t quite come to appreciate yet. You know, like when you’re walking through an art museum (because I know y’all do that all the time) and you walk past a painting thinking nothing more than, “oh, that’s kinda cool..” But then the art lover, graphics design major, painting & drawing minor, with a concentration in art history girl walks up behind you and starts talking passionately about the painting. Seeing things in it you didn’t even know existed. Talking about its intricate meaning and purpose, and it’s beautiful design pattern.
You try to see what she’s going on about, but your knowledge of art itself is far too juvenile for your eyes to even be opened to the ideas and concepts she’s talking about. You need to take an art class. And it’s probably best to take an art class that is taught by the artist Himself. The creator of the masterpiece, who is in fact the master piece.

Anyone want to take an art class with me?
