  • I laugh loudly and a lot.
  • I grew up in central New York and, since graduating high school, have continually moved farther and farther south; now residing in Baton Rouge, LA.
  • I love adventures and doing things that I'm scared of.

Here's a mini version of my journey to Truth:

Growing up in a Conservative Jewish home, I knew there was a God, but I never understood or cared much about Him.  From the outside looking in, my childhood was great.  I had parents that loved me unconditionally, an older sister who quietly lead by example, plenty of friends, and a passion for gymnastics that kept me busy and out of trouble.  When I had gymnastics taken away from me my senior year of high school, I lost my identity completely, and God used that opportunity to reveal Himself to me, ultimately captivating my life.  Heading into my freshman year of college I knew that Jesus was real and that He died on the cross for my sins, but I had no idea what it meant to live for Him or that He actually wanted a personal relationship with me.  Because of this, I fell hard and often to temptation and sin the next 3 years of college.  My senior year of college was when I began digging into my relationship with Jesus Christ.  I learned how God spoke to me and began looking for Him, listening to Him, and craving more of Him on a daily basis.  My relationship with God continues to grow and my faith in Him is challenged to increase daily.
