I like to remind myself that it’s not about me.
I think that’s one of the main reasons I’m going on this trip, this crazy adventure called The World Race. For eleven months, it’s not about me. It’s about Jesus, and pushing the boundaries of the Kingdom.
But, I guess for a moment, this can be about me. Because in the end, I want it to be about Jesus, and I want my story to point to Him.
…so, let me tell you about myself.

I am a 21-year-old Bostonian-at-heart, Virginian-by-nurture, Texan-born, citizen-of-the-world. I recently graduated from Boston University in December with a degree in photojournalism and a minor in Spanish.
I have a passion for justice; I am an investor in people.
Things I’m good at: initiating conversations, approaching strangers, laughing at people’s jokes, asking questions, inviting everyone, throwing parties, telling stories, taking pictures, casting vision, dreaming big, speaking Spanish, giving gifts, speaking truth.
Things I’m working on: listening well, loving selflessly, needing people, speaking truth with grace, giving mercy, thinking small details, being sympathetic, enjoying solitude, letting myself talk sometimes.
