Today what am I thankful for…
> Im thankful for Anna
> Im thankful for coffee in a bag
> Im thankful for Kayla
> Im thankful for the muffin man
> Im thankful for my supporters
This is what I do everyday it doesn’t matter what time if its 530 in in the morning or during afternoon devotions. I reflect on what God has blessed me with that day! If its a rough day or if I’m in a tough place I write 6 and if its a good day I write 3, but let me tell you I normally love to write 6 because I have so much to be thankful for!!
Let me tell you why I decided to write what I did for today…
~Anna an anorexic beautiful young woman that Elle and I got to pray over in the market. She knew a little English and she told us she is very sick and pointed to her heart telling us she used to drink to much. We asked if we could pray for her and with a receptive smile she gladly said YES.
~coffee in a bag honestly the weirdest thing but the greatest invention. also its 75 cents so like yes of course Im thankful!
~Kayla my amazing team mate who I got to have a breakfast date with this morning. we got to talk, laugh, and encourage each other up in the Lord. All while we sat on a dirty bench under a tree, eating mangos and dragon fruit by the river! Wow am I thankful for great sisters in Christ.
~ The muffin man… who is actually a lady. She sits in the market on the ground with her fires making these amazing little muffins that remind me of pancakes, and they are a great blessing to my stomach. Also she is one who just puts a smile on your face while with her broken English she communicates her price 1500 real for 3 which is = about 30 cents.
~ So, so, so thankful for all my supporters that have provided me with the money to be able to live on budget. This means only using the money provided from my account (about $1.50 a meal) I am thriving and learning how to humble myself to my actual needs. also it has been an adventure because its sometimes fun figuring out what you can get for that much each meal. Let me tell you, you would be surprised at how much fruit you can buy for $1.50
