If you are around me for more than a few days, you will recognize that I always have my “song”. It’s the one song that I constantly go back to.. the one worship song I will play on repeat all day for a week.. or several weeks… or a month. It usually speaks to whatever things are going on my heart and how God is working in my life during that time period. Whatever the song, it is my anthem.. until a new one comes along that speaks new life.
Right now, my anthem is “Ever Be” by Kalley Heiligenthal, and can be found on the newest Bethel Music Album titled We Will Not Be Shaken. *Side Note: If you haven’t bought that album yet, you should! As expected from pretty much anything that comes out of Bethel, it is so fantastic!
Check out the video, and really take some time to meditate on the lyrics. It is so powerful. It leaves me speechless and arms flung open (physically or mentally, depending on my settings) in awe and worship of my God –My Groom– every time. The second verse and pre-chorus are especially awe-inspiring.
I pray this song ministers to you as well. Sit and soak in his love and his presence today.
