Training camp starts in 14 days ya’ll!
I decided tonight that I would try to go ahead and get everything that I could into my pack, get it all together and be prepared. In reality what happened was stress, wondering if I was going to be able to bring any clothes and a small dose of panic. Fitting everything I am going to need into these two bags seemed impossible. There was no way it was going to happen. I got it all in (prayer helped), and then I just sat and looked at my bags for a moment. In 61 days I will be “leaving on a jet plane” ya’ll.
I really started thinking about the opportunity I have in front of me, and how in such a short amount of time, I am going to get to “Go into the world” and speak God’s love to the nations. I get to serve, help and be a small part of The Great Commission. When I think of the love that He has for me, the plans and the thought that He puts into little ol’ me, I can’t imagine doing anything other than serving Him daily. I am eternally grateful for this opportunity and cannot thank everyone enough for helping me along this path!
I had mentioned in a previous blog that I had decided to fund the first $5,000 on my own. I took on overtime at my job and worked odd jobs and was able to do that. By the time I met the first goal, I had also reached the second goal of $10,000 through donations. Today I would like to announce that my 3rd goal of $13,000 has also been met!! Ya’ll that means I only have $5,000 more to go!! God has truly been working a miracle, and I cannot wait to see the miracles He has in store!
If anyone feels led to donate here is the link kasieosborne.theworldrace.org
