Hey y’all!
It feels like it’s been a while (because it has). So here is a little story about what has been happening in Nicaragua!
We arrived in Nicaragua on the 10th, a day late because of road blocks in traveling, literally and figuratively.
We have been living on the island of Ometepe and working at CICREN. CICREN used to be an orphanage but it’s now more of a school. We have been doing many different things. We have worked in a school, racked a bunch of leaves, washed a ton of dishes and even devoted an entire week to prayer.
Daughter Zion has grown as a team and as individuals! This month has been all squad which means that all three teams are together!! That means I have been with Naomi this month which has been awesome!
We leave for Panama on the 7th, which is insane because it’s already almost MONTH 3! It does not feel like I’ve been out here for 2 months, but the calender says I have! Crazy, right?!
Well y’all, gotta go get ready for GNO (girls night out) with DZ!
