So you may start to notice some new/different faces in my Instagram and Facebook posts. This is because coming into month 5 of the race our squad had team changes. I am no longer on team Decided and I am not a part of team Eve.

So first, to team Decided. Thank you! Thank you for showing me what living in Christian community really looks like. Thank you for pouring into me more than I knew was possible. Thank you for being more than just friends and being true sisters. Thank you for laughing with (and of them times at) me. Thank you for genuinely caring about my life. I will cherish the time we spent living together forever. I will never forget what each of you have taught me.

Mantha, you taught me how to believe in myself and trust in the Lord at the same time. You have been such an amazing role model to me and I look up to you (even though in a foot taller and 4 years older than you 😉 ).

P

Elsie, you have taught me what it means to truly be a proverbs 31 woman. You are so strong but in the most humble and gracious way thanks for always giving me the best hugs.

Katie, lets be real, you taught me how to love someone even when we don’t always like each other. Thank you for being a sister in Christ and for continuing to love me even when I’m not being likable!

Angie, you have shown me what it looks like to thirst for God’s word. I’m so glad to have been able to learn from you and laugh with you. Also welcome to the Harry Potter world (watching all the movies with you and complaining about the differences in the books was my favorite)

Alexa, what to say! Firstly I thought I was never going to like you. But isn’t that how all great friendships start? I’m so glad we pressed deeper than the surface level differences between us and found out our heads are the same!

Team Decided, I will miss living and fully doing life with you.

So my new team is named team Eve. The name means a lot to us. We 5 women are special as a group together because we are the only group that has one person from each original group. So we decided to go with even because like we are women from the original teams, Eve is the original woman! E.V.E also stand for three words that as a team we want to press into together.

V-vision

E-embrace

So to team Eve, I am so excited to learn from and grow with you all.

To my friends/family at home, I can’t say too much about our team yet but from being on the same squad I can tell you a little about each of them.

Alison: Our fearless team leader. She is so fun but also so loving! She is great at empowering others.

Cimone: She is such a sweet heart. She is always thinking about others and wanting to serve and love well.

Amanda: This girl is so rooted in her faith! She is so strong and resilient.

Sarah: She is an amazingly honest friend. She is great at calling the people around her into their giftings.

So for everyone, I have learned a lot from my past team and am so excited to learn even more from this new team!! I’m so excited for what God has for us as a family.
