**disclaimer: I am stealing this great idea from a squad mate Sarah Pippin! So shout out and thanks for letting me steal your idea! https://sarahpippin.theworldrace.org/post/11-things-you-should-know-while-im-gone
1. I am so excited for this experience! I honestly just feel so lucky that God has called me to spread his word in this way.
2. That doesn’t mean it’s not going to be SUPER hard at times. Please give me grace and be open to happy posts as well as sad or heartbreaking posts!
3. I will be doing ministry in each country. This will look different everywhere. I will also be going on fun adventures! Please don’t get confused when I post more pictures of adventures than ministry. Sometimes it’s not appropriate to take pics during ministry moments and sometimes ministry hosts will have restrictions on what pictures We can post! So stick with me and read my blog to hear about ministry!
4. I am not Jesus…. I can not save anyone! To read more about this please read my squad mates Amy Johnson’s blog post! https://amyjohnson.theworldrace.org/post/ethical-storytelling-pt-1-the-hero-complex
5. Please message me! You can use the app WhatsApp or Facebook or Instagram messenger or email me here. Please, however, give me grace in responding. Connection is scares and I am also going to be disciplining myself off my phone in order to be present where I am! Meaning I may have connection and still not respond sometimes. It’s not because I don’t love and miss you but because I am trying to remain focused!
6. I may share things that are out of your comfort zone… trust me they are out of mine too! And that is OKAY! Lean into that and please message me individually with questions if you have them.
7. My family and loved ones are okay! Yes they will miss me but their lives will go on. Pray for them but also don’t constantly ask them/ remind them of my absence. (They already know I’m gone)
8. The countries I am going too will likely change (like it already has twice) that is okay.
9. Yes Jeff and I are still together! Seperation will be hard but it will only make us stronger and bring each of us closer to God!!!
10. Coming back home WILL be hard! It is a hard transition. Please give me space in this time to process my journey. Don’t worry there will be a party and you can come!
11. Thank you so much for reading this far and and supporting me in so many ways! I am so grateful for each of you!!
Thanks for playting along and I hope you learned something! ??? Out America see you in June of 2019!!!!
