- I am a teacher. I have taught 1st and 2nd grade for the last six years.

- I have a cat named Rose.
- I graduated from Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!!)
- I was born in Atlanta, GA and moved to Baton Rouge, LA in the 5th grade.
- I have two wonderful parents, Ken and Nancy.
- I have a brother, Robert, who is married to Heather. They have three kids: Hailey, Emma, and Jack.
- I love working with the youth group at my church, St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church.
