I apologize I have not posted a blog in a long long time. Life has been at full speed and hectic. A lot has happened since I last blogged.
Route change:
I am now going to Guatemala instead of Nicaragua and Honduras instead of El Salvador.

In May, I graduated from college with a degree in Business Management with a minor in Psychology and went to China for 12 days on a business trip through my school. I went to training camp for the World Race for 11 days in June and I was chosen to be Beauty for Ashes Coordinator for my squad. I went to World Race launch with my parents AND NOW I AM CURRENTLY IN PANAMA!
Training camp:
There are no words that can describe training camp. Overwhelming. Exhausting. Challenging. Crazy. Hectic. Fun. Exciting. Eye-opening. Training camp was full of nights sleeping in a tent in the pouring rain, packing and repacking everything in my enormous bag SEVERAL times, porta pottys, bucket showers, sweating every two seconds, growing closer to the Lord, and meeting 31 strangers that I have the pleasure of embarking God’s plans with. Training camp definitely prepared me for the World Race. They put us through scenarios that will actually happen on the field, poured into us with knowledge, and had so much wisdom of how to prepare for this journey. Training camp was absolutely an experience that is unforgettable.
Beauty for Ashes:
Beauty for Ashes is a women’s ministry that is a part of the World Race. Beauty for Ashes is a ministry focused towards creating a safe place for women to share their stories while making way for the Holy Spirit to bring healing. Beauty for Ashes mission is to bring God’s restoration, hope, and healing to suffering and victimized women through ministry and training. Beauty for Ashes vision is to restore women of all nations serving as Christ’s ambassadors for change, healing, and freedom in their homes, communities, and cultures. In some countries, women are not important, valued, able to voice her opinion, or allowed to cry. Beauty for Ashes has a heart to reach those women. My task as a coordinator is to facilitate this ministry within my squad and to reach as many as we can. Isaiah 61:3
