For month 6, my team and Team Possible have partnered with Africa 4 Jesus (A4J) ministry in Zambia. This ministry includes mission efforts, mission bases, and mission training centers in Kimberley South Africa, Lesotho, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Vietnam, and Jordan.
Africa 4 Jesus, Zambia, is based in the heart of Livingstone, southern Zambia about 10 minutes away from the mighty Victoria Falls, one of the seven wonders of the world and a tourist hot spot. It is lead by long time friends Ken and Rodrick with the help of a vibrant dynamic team of local and international volunteers and interns.
The ministry was officially registered in Zambia in 2014 and has been steadily growing from hosting Pastor/Leaders Training & Equipping Conferences to Youth Centered Mission Conferences, Camp Character Change camps for youth and young adults, and now the first ever (in 2017), The CORE (Character of Obedience & Relentless Evangelism) missions Internship discipleship program. Africa 4 Jesus hosts different International Churches, Mission Teams, and Gap year Teams eager to minister, engage, serve or volunteer in near and far African communities and villages. This ministry also reaches to a network of about 40 local churches, who are regularly being trained, equipped, and challenged to live on mission for Christ through the many programs and training events they host.
Africa 4 Jesus aims to fully engage – fully equip – fully disciple – fully mobilize the African Church to missions. They exist to raise mission minded active disciples of Jesus who are inspired to make disciples anywhere, everywhere. Each one . . . reach one . . . teach one . . . touch one . . . multiplying disciple movements. Transforming a whole generation for Jesus one person at a time.
That’s all for now. Until next time(:
Yours in Christ,
Karrie
