Hey guys!
I’m Karli, but some have come to call me Konnie (really, no reason)
So, here is a little bit about myself: I grew up and still currently live in Proctorville, Ohio (Pville is a very small town that no one ever really knows about). I have three brothers, a sister, and an adorable niece. Growing up I have always been surrounded by a loving family. I’m blessed to say that we’re all so close! I was raised in Community Baptist Church, but just recently found my place at Sanctuary of Grace. And, as of now, I am a senior at Fairland High School.
Some interests of mine: hiking, camping, and running…the list goes on and on when it comes to being outdoors. Painting has been a hobby of mine for years. I love sweets! Ice cream, donuts, candy bars…anything with sugar!
I have a huge irrational fear of frogs!!! No reason, they are just slimy and scary, lol.
Why did I choose the world race?
A couple of months ago, I started looking into gap year organizations. I never really thought about a several month long mission trip. But, I stumbled upon the World Race and it caught my attention. The thought of traveling to new places, coming out of my comfort zone, AND spreading the gospel really struck me…what could be a better idea???
What do I want to do with my life???
The answer is I’m not really sure yet. God is leading me to where I’m supposed to be. I trust Him. <3
