11. It is possible to be even more excited for the Race than I was before training camp.

 

10. The suggested packing list is WRONG! Talk to former World Racers/ Blog stalk for proper packing tips! (Borrowing gear for training camp is a good thing.  This is what I did and now I know what doesn’t work and didn’t spend a fortune on gear I won’t take with me.)

 

9. Maybe most importantly. I learned how to wear a buff better than any survivor participant.

Gorgeous. I know. And not only is it stylish, it kept my ears warm and prevented spiders from crawling in my ears. 🙂

 

8. Six girls on one team for 11 months may not be as bad as I expect.
