The countdown is in the single digits! Crazy! 5 days until I fly on a plane to Atlanta for a couple of days of training and preparation before flying out to South Africa. These last couple weeks seem to have just blown by with saying goodbye to family and friends and finishing up hours at work! It has all been very bittersweet and I have loved every minute being home.
I wanted to thank everyone who has written letters for me to open throughout the next 11 months and who has supported me throughout this process of leaving. It has been such a blessing. I wanted to give a HUGE thank you to those who have donated so far, I wouldn’t be able to this without you!
With that being said, I still have a few T-Shirts that are available for sale, $20 (contact me for sizes) but the money goes directly to my fundraising goal. I am about half way to being fully funded and would LOVE to be fully funded as soon possible so I can focus on the ministry sites and fellowship with my team, so please prayerfully consider supporting me. As I get ready to head out on this 11 month adventure, I could use some prayer as well as squad and my team. My squad is made up of 54 people and my team is made up of 5 wonderful ladies that I get to live with and serve the nations with for the next 11 months. I cannot be more excited. Please be in prayer for us that we can grow in community and serve our ministry sites well, and everyone we come in contact with. Their names are Lyndi, Christina, Brittany, Brooke and Enrica.
Our route is South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, India, Nepal, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Please be in prayer for these countries and the ministry sites that we will be serving and the people we will be partnering with. There will be SO many opportunities on this trip to talk to people if we only have the courage and eyes open to see them and go talk to them. Pray that we don’t miss any chances no matter where we are or what we are doing. Even on our “off” days we are still on mission. I cannot wait to see waht God has in store for me, my team and my squad.
