I’m Karleigh. I am 22 years old and I’m totally feelin’ it. God saved me and rescued my soul when I was 17 years old and because of HIM, my life has never been the same since.

I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology — Go Vols! So I love most things science and I love learning about the way the Creator created the world. Being at UT for the past few years has been incredible. The Lord has taught me so much here in a lot of monumental ways primarily through my precious local church (Cornerstone Church of Knoxville, shout out!) and sweet friendships. Also, I am a Vol for Life.
I am originally from a small county called Polk county, TN where I grew up and where I spent most of my school years. Now I call Cleveland, TN ‘home’ where my mom and my stepdad reside. I have 3 older brothers that I love and they are awesome. My parents are divorced, but I love them both and they are both supportive (or at least getting there) of this adventure. My mom, in particular, is my best friend and we are extremely close. She is a constant gift from the Lord.

Currently, I am an associate at LifeWay Christian Stores part-time (it rocks!) and I am also a nanny for the cutest 2 year old twins eva (they rock too!). I am LOVING this season the Lord has me in being able to enjoy working with more free time to serve and enjoy friendships and family. And I get to prepare for this crazy adventure!

I love many things! I am really passionate about people, the Gospel, kiddos (elementary & high school alike) sweet friendships, growing in knowledge of the Lord, learning new things, and serving.
I LOVE to read (it doesn’t help that I work at a bookstore). I LOVE to hang out with friends and meet new people. I really love to drink lots of coffee (errday). I love to spend time at my church–one of my favorite places. I love to craft and journal. I love to do spontaneous things with friends. I love kids. I love life.

And I really love Jesus. And in all these things, I’m learning to cherish HIM more. After all, isn’t the created only meant to point to the Creator?

He must become greater, I must become less. HE is worthy of the praise of ALL peoples from every tribe, tongue, and nation. It is for HIS glory, and His ALONE.
The Lord has opened the door for this incredible opportunity and I am following Him through it. I will post more about this later, but for me, it is an opportunity of a lifetime to learn of Jesus more, die to myself, surrender to His plan, and love and serve people for His glory.
