It is hard to come from a country where you are free to do whatever you please whenever you want, to an unfamiliar country with 55 other individuals that you hardly know and try and live together where you cannot go anywhere alone, have to share a bedroom, restroom, shower, food, and wifi among other things.

You really have to learn how to share EVERYTHING and learn to have “alone” time with many people around you with just your headphones in your ears.

It’s been an interesting time in Albania so far.  Aside from learning the culture, language, and customs, you also have to learn how to live with the whole squad.  Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love it and I am learning so much not only about myself, but also about others and how the enemy can come and enter through the cracks and distract us from the true purpose that we all applied to the World Race from the beginning.

This is a huge reminder that the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.

The Lord is constantly reminding me that I have to be mindful of what I am called to do, what I was sent to the nations for, what my purpose is, and know who the Lord says I am.

Gossip, slander, hate, fear, division, anger, hatred, jealousy, etc., are all ideas of the enemy to come and destroy relationships, cause division within squads and teams or anything that is trying to spread the Kingdom of God.

The enemy feels all those things and wants to reproduce himself in us through these ideas.  I constantly pray for my squad that we have mercy and grace towards one another and that we can love each other just like God has loved us.

I’m looking forward to see where the Lord leads us and the growth and maturity that each of us will gain through the World Race.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35

and here is my squad! Love them!
