It’s pretty interesting going to an outdoor squatty potty in the woods in the middle of the mountains and are doing your business and suddenly start hearing horrific screams in the woods like someone is being murdered.
Don’t worry…it was just a man being delivered from demons, sin, and death.
To me, it was a beautiful portrait of how He loves us.
Jesus called us to do that, Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons… (Matthew 10:8) He did it all the time and gave us the power to do it too.
Just then there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, saying, “What business do we have with each other, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!” And Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” Throwing him into convulsions, the unclean spirit cried out with a loud voice and came out of him. (Mark 1:23-26)
Was I scared? Fear tried to take over, but I know that the Lord has not given me a spirit of fear, so I did not receive that. I just prayed.
What happened to that man? He got delivered and he is now free!!!

This all happened at a worship camp in Sliven, Bulgaria where my team, that got partnered with another team, got assigned to. Our ministry was cleaning squatty potties and building relationships with the people. There were approximately 1,000 Bulgarians at this Christian Worship Camp. We were at at top of a mountain with the most beautiful view I've ever seen. We camped out and got to use my tent and sleeping bag/pad. It was incredibly hot during the day and super cold at night. We had 2 worship services a day and a message was shared each time. I just have to say that Christian Bulgarians are so passionate about the Lord and had an amazing time building relationships, sharing about Jesus in my life, and praying for people.
I am so honored to be a part of such a beautiful ministry this month partnered with Mission Possible Bulgaria.
