My name is Kari 🙂
I am 21 years old, and will be 22 when I depart on the World Race!!
I am in the middle of a degree in middle school education. I am taking a year
off in order to go on the World Race. 

I am from Barbourville (Which is a very small town in Kentucky!)

I have the most AMAZING family in the entire world!!!

I am going to miss them like crazy, but they are amazingly supportive of my
decision to follow Gods calling and take this leap of faith.
I honestly could not ask for a better family, God has blessed me IMMENSELY!!!

This is my best friend and favorite hiking buddy! We love being outdoors
and just enjoying God's creation! She has also been an incredible role model for
me throughout my life and has constantly pointed me to Christ.

  • For real though, like I cant even pick a favorite color
  • I desperately wish I was a morning person
  • I love music… Pretty much all of it
  • I love people! But I haven't always loved people…
From the moment I gave my heart to Jesus, He began transforming my entire world.  I began to see others through his eyes and he gave me a compassion for others that I can't possibly describe.  Even more specifically, God broke my heart for the hurting around the globe.  I have known for a long time that God's plan for me was international missions.  When I look at a world map I become giddy lol, when I read verses about compassion like Isaiah 61:1,  Hebrews 13:1-3, Isaiah 58:6-7 I become overwhelmed with a desire to help the oppressed.  After all, isn't that what Christ did for us? We were dead in sin and couldn't help ourselves, so he sacrificed everything and came to us! My love for Jesus drives my every action and I believe with everything in me that God has called me to the World Race and will provide for me.  I want my entire life to be centered around Jesus, and I hope that daily I become a little more like him.
