Welcome to the year 2008…I beat most of my readers to it this year. We had the opportunity to go up on a mountain and look out over Manila. What I saw was indescribable…fireworks galore! I’ve never seen so many fireworks at once in my life, even on the 4th of July in the states. I could see them out for miles up close and in the distance for hours as we counted down to midnight here in the Philippines.

New Year Resolution? Love God more…more Jesus this year, and less of me! I have been praying for God’s eyes. I want to see people how He does. I long to view life the way He does. I desire to see situations the way He does. If I see people the way He does, I will only see how valuable they are. I will see their worth and how God knew them before the foundations of the earth, just as He knew me. If I see my team, the people we’re ministering to, and anyone I’m around the way He does, I will love them the way Christ loved and serve them the way Christ served. That is my heart…and God is working on me.
