Today is the big day…we’re off to our ministry site.  Tonight we leave at 6:30 to head to the bus station where we’ll hop on a bus for 6 to 7 hours.  I’m getting excited to actually start ministry and working with these kids and whoever else God puts in our pths.  I apologize for not being as detailed or thorough in my postings as I would like to be.  I seem to have so much to tell you in such a little time and uploading pictures takes a bit of time (and doesn’t help that I need to gather them from everyone else!)  But God is good.  He has been using the things everyday to teach me something.

A picture of Krystle and I at the top of one of the largest temples.  It was an amazing view of Bangkok up there.

As we prepare to leave for the Tree of Life orphanage, many things are going through my head.   Even though I feel inadequate at times, God reminds me often of His strength and power.  It doesn’t matter how weak I am, because when I am weak He can shine through strong showing who He is.  I want to make an impact.  I am praying God gives me the wisdom and words to say to love on these kids or to use teaching English at the school as an opportunity to share God’s love.  But in these past few days in Bangkok before heading out, God has already taught me alot about unity, community, and being who I need to be for my team first.  I need to be lifting my teammates up all the time and being an encouragement to them, loving them, before we will be effective as a team.  God is good!

Please pray for:

safety tonight as we travel

God to continue preparing their hearts even before we get there

unity in our team

*Sorry these blogs are a little scattered.  there is so much I want to tell you in a short amount of time.
