My whole life I have been holding onto lies that the enemy has spoken over me. Some of the lies were so deeply rooted that I didn’t even realize they were there. Stepping off the plane in Japan I felt a sense that something big spiritually was going to happen in me this month. I had no idea things of my past would surface and I would become aware of lies that were holding me back from being the person God created me to be. I want to share with you what God has been doing in my heart this month in Japan and the huge breakthrough I have had in knowing who I AM in CHRIST.
My team and I did an activity together that started this healing process for me. We took a piece of paper and wrote down all the lies we could think of that the enemy has been whispering in our ears throughout our life. Each one of us read our lies aloud and then burned them. After that we took a second piece of paper and wrote down the truths of how God see’s us and read them aloud. We kept this paper as a reminder of the truths God see’s in us, and our identity in Him. This list is stronger and has more power over us than the lies we burned in the fire.
These are the lies I burned this month! I want to share them with you because being able to share them to my team was one thing, but sharing them with many makes Gods truth even more real! I’m tired of holding onto these lies. It’s time to move on and rise up because glory is waiting!
Enemies Lies
I have believed the lies that I am unworthy, not fought for, not trustworthy, not pursuable, not pure, not beautiful, not longed for, not missed, not ever good enough, not intelligent, not skinny enough, my words aren’t valid, I can’t write, I’m easily forgotten, I am self-fish, there is nothing special about me, I can’t be led, I will never see myself as God sees me, and I will never hear Gods voice or see through His eyes.
God’s Truth
I AM genuine, contagious, creative, unique, wanted, intelligent, beautiful inside and out, confident, special, pursuable, desired, longed for. MY words are valid, I CAN write, I AM never forgotten, I AM missed, I AM good enough, My weight is healthy, I CAN BE LED, I will see myself as you see me Lord soon, I have self-control, I AM worthy to hear your voice and see through your eyes, I bring you great joy when I sing to you, I AM fun, loveable, I AM high maintenance and a diva, but in a good way 
, You love to hear my thoughts and prayers, my wedding night will be special because I AM pure, People enjoy being around me, MY JOY is contagious. I AM loved by my mother just as much as my other siblings, I have many talents and new ones are waiting to be found. I AM a great LISTENER, I AM a trustworthy friend, I have a gift with children. I have a way of making others feel special and bringing them out of their shell. I AM a beautiful CHILD of God.
How Many times have you spoken lies over yourself? What is Satan filling your thoughts with? Don’t go another day letting the enemy lie to you! Burn those lies and feel freedom! Everybody has wounds to be healed and lies to let go. There is MEANING in each and every one of our lives. Let God AWAKEN your heart and show you how BEAUTIFUL and MEANINGFUL your life is today. BE FREE!
And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. John 8:32
