Good day here from New Zealand! We have officially been on New Zealand territory for 10 hours now. The weather here is beautiful! The landscape is absolutely gorgeous! I keep trying to take photos, but there is no way I could do this place justice to how beautiful it actually is. Today, I have learned that New Zealanders call themselves, “Kiwis,” they are very laid back people, the ozone layer has a hole in it that is directly above New Zealand, so I am already burned. It takes about 10 minutes to get hit by the sun. (sorry Mom! I am trying to wear sun block.. really!) About 7% of the population is Christian, but most would say they are because they have heard about Jesus. It is very much like America here. The people are pretty accepting of different cultures and ways of thinking. This place is VERY clean! People seem to take really good care of their homes and yards. Right now, we are staying at a YWAM base (Youth with a Mission) in Crystal Springs, Matamata. The people here are so wonderful and you can really see the love of Jesus shining through them. I am so blown away by how much the Lord loves us to bring us to a beautiful place like this! I have posted a few pictures of our campsite and my team in front of New Zealand mountains. I hope you enjoy! I will try to keep in touch as much as possible and I am so grateful to share in this ministry with all of you! I love you all and will write again soon!

Love,

Karen
