He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love!
Colossians 1:13
What this verse tells me is that sin LOST IT’S POWER. If we are followers of Jesus, what had a hold can’t hold us anymore. We have been switched over to a place of FREEDOM; a place where the POWER that keeps us is through the SAVING WORK and MIGHT of the KING OF THE UNIVERSE. He has turned us over to light and made what had power over us before as NOTHING BUT RUBBISH! Sin has LOST IT’S POWER over us! Sometimes, that doesn’t feel true. Sometimes, feelings of defeat come in, but this Colossians 1:13 has power!! We are part of a Kingdom now. We are named, SAINT NOT SINNER!
